This place was mind-blowing! The location was super, right in the center of town, convenient for taking tons of border photos. The room was clean and comfy, although slightly basic. The staff was amazing and service-minded. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant was fantastic. The food was jaw-dropping, and the selection of wines and local beers in the bar was impressive. The rooms were nicely decorated and high-end. The city was exciting with all the border crossings. I had a super stay and would definitely come back!

I chose Hotel Brasserie Den Engel specifically because I wanted to visit the Sint-Salvatorkapel, which was conveniently located nearby. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless internet access provided by the hotel. It was a great convenience and allowed me to stay connected during my trip. Additionally, the on-site restaurant and bar/lounge were a nice bonus, providing a cozy and convenient place to enjoy a meal or a drink.
Terrible sleep due to noise and smells.

Plus, the breakfast, although not a buffet, was plentiful and served in a pleasant manner. The renovated bathrooms were a nice touch, as they were recently updated and impeccably clean. the rooms were of high quality compared to the affordable prices.
